Estate Planning Education Meeting

During this complementary meeting, you will educate Scott about your family and your goals, and Scott will educate you about your available estate planning options and costs.

Probate Intake Meeting

During this complementary meeting, you will discuss with Scott your legal needs related to the death of your loved one and get an overview of the process. Please bring any relevant documents, such as death certificate, will, trust, and financial records.
Existing clients

Estate Plan Design Meeting

This meeting is required for each estate plan, and is included in the cost of your plan. Please bring your completed Estate Planning packet and other financial documents to this meeting. During the meeting, you will work with Scott to figure out the details and structure of your plan, including which people will have key roles in your plan.

Estate Plan Signing Meeting

This meeting is required for each estate plan, and is included in the cost of your plan. During the meeting, you will review your prepared documents with Scott to make sure you understand the plan and to answer any questions you have. Only after you feel comfortable with the plan, you will sign the plan documents.

Estate Plan Review/Update Meeting

This meeting is suitable for prior Learned Lawyer estate planning clients who wish to discuss proposed revisions to an estate plan. This might include revisions due to marriage, divorce, birth, death, changes in wealth, or changes in your wishes. Hourly billing rates may apply.

Other Consultation

For existing clients only, use this appointment type to schedule a general consultation with Scott. Hourly billing rates may apply.

Collaboration Meeting

If you are a financial planner, real estate professional, banker, insurance agent, or some other person who wants to collaborate with me to help our mutual clients, let's get coffee or lunch!

Student Appointment

For students of Scott's at University of Idaho Law School. If you will need more than 15 minutes, be sure to schedule multiple appointments. Appointments will be in person at Scott's office unless you get permission from him to do something else.
